I'll admit this hike isn't really my kind of thing, especially if we're talking about doing it in July or August.
Be prepared: during peak season, there's a lot, a lot, and I mean a lot of crowds. Much, much better in September, October, or November.
That said, such an iconic, unique and almost legendary place — at least for visitors from abroad — is one I simply couldn't leave out.
The hike starts on foot from Rifugio Auronzo, and depending on the number of people, we'll figure out the best way to get there.
The hike covers the full loop around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, with possible stops at the various rifugios along the way.
