I am Michele Sacchi and in my free time, as an AIGAE member, I work as an Environmental Hiking Guide.

For many years I spent time in the high mountains; I started with a hiking course, then a Ski Mountaineering course. I practiced classic alpinism, climbing many Grade IV routes; I've done many via ferratas; with climbing skins I've summited several 4,000-metre peaks in Valle d'Aosta and Switzerland. I've covered thousands and thousands of metres of elevation gain.

But I always looked closely at the view, and barely at the landscape.
And that's not a small thing. In fact, it's everything.

So now I've decided to do what I hadn't done before: observe, smell, feel, touch, understand, interpret, and read what surrounds me.

If you want to go on a hike clipped to a harness or a rope, then I'm not the right person for you.

But if you want to encounter nature — often harsh, wild and primal; if you want to immerse yourself in the woods and lose yourself in imagination, free your mind and daydream, then we can walk this path together. I can also take you into the snow, with snowshoes. There's nothing like the snow!

It will take a bit of effort and sweat too, but it's almost always worth it.
