Thanks to the very recent LIFE SPAN project, this trail has gained enormous significance.
We'll have the impression (though it's not just an impression) of walking through a wild, primeval forest, where the woodland returns to being the kind of habitat capable of hosting a huge number of living beings, both animal and plant.
Dead wood, both standing and on the ground, becomes the perfect "apartment block" for the forest's inhabitants.
In short, a deep dive into biodiversity.
