We set off from Passo Mauria, 1,298 m.
After passing a few mountain huts, we immerse ourselves in truly unspoiled nature. Once we cross the Stabie stream, we'll be in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Beech and fir trees will be constant companions along our path, which stays gentle and easy for most of its length — only near the end, with one final short climb, do we reach the mountain hut, where, most likely, we'll be able to enjoy a coffee or find something to eat on a donation basis.
